About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Merchant Services Sales Manager who will be responsible for the oversight of a team of Merchant Sales Consultants. This crucial role is responsible for effectively creating sales opportunities with merchant services clients and prospects. In this role you will work to identify, acquire, and grow new relationships within a target market. In this role, you will:

  • Manage and develop Merchant Services Sales team to achieve all targets and engage stakeholders and internal partners associated

  • Supervise in transactional tasks and processes to ensure timely completion, quality, and compliance

  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and risk control development in complex functions

  • Make decisions and resolve issues related to team supervision, work allocation, and daily operations under direction of management

  • Leverage interpretation of policies, procedures, and compliance requirements

  • Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and managers, as well as interact directly with external customer

  • Manage allocation of people and financial resources for Merchant Services Sales

  • Mentor and guide talent development of direct reports and assist in hiring talent

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of Merchant Services Sales experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

  • 2+ years of leadership experience


Desired Qualifications:

  • Proven ability leading teams to reach sales metrics

  • Strong background of relationship management and building new partnership

  • Ability to influence, partner, and negotiate with senior business leaders to gain commitment to accomplish business goals

  • Experience working directly with premium customer segment, in partnership with RBRM, SSBDR, and VSBB

  • Ability to identify, understand, and analyze growth opportunities based on market potential

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects and deadlines simultaneously

  • Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to lead by influence and example

  • Ability to provide exceptional client satisfaction to retain and grow Merchant Client relationships


Job Expectations:

  • Ability to travel up to 30% of the time

  •  Visa sponsorship is not available
