Lead Business Execution Consultant

  • Strategy & Execution
  • Full time
  • R-540144

About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Business Execution Consultant.

This role is within function of Chief of Staff to Head of India and Philippines. This role will be central to strategy execution, leadership governance, and executive communication, with significant exposure to the Business Unit Reviews with COO and Board presentation.

The role requires exceptional capability in storyboarding, synthesizing complex inputs into executive‑ready narratives, and driving disciplined execution of regional priorities in partnership with the Business Office and leadership teams.

This is a leadership‑adjacent role with a mandate to influence without authority, ensure alignment, and raise the bar on how the region presents, governs, and delivers against strategic priorities.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead cross functional teams to strategize, plan, and execute a variety of programs, services and initiatives
  • Drive accountability for assigned initiatives, limit risk exposure, and create efficiencies as appropriate
  • Review strategic approaches and effectiveness of support function and business performance
  • Perform assessments through fact finding and data requiring creative approaches to solving complex issues, and develop appropriate solutions or recommendations
  • Make decisions in highly complex and multifaceted situations requiring solid understanding of business group's functional area or products, facilitate decision making and issue resolution, and support implementation of developed solutions and plans
  • Collaborate and consult with members of the Business Execution team and team leaders to drive strategic initiatives
  • Influence, guide and lead less experienced Strategy and Execution staff within the group
  • Partner closely with the Business Office and functional leaders to synthesize inputs into a consistent, compelling leadership narrative across all senior forums.
  • Lead the creation of high‑quality, executive‑ready presentations for:
    • Board Reviews
    • Business Unit Reviews with COO and Senior leadership
    • Regional leadership team forums
  • Own storyboarding end‑to‑end – from defining the narrative, key messages, and “so what,” through final slide execution.
  • Ensure consistency, clarity, and senior‑stakeholder effectiveness across all leadership materials and forums
  • Govern and track regional priorities; surface risks, dependencies, and decision ask early
  • Drive disciplined execution through clear ownership, milestones, and outcomes, not just reporting
  • Translate data and analysis into clear, actionable insights and executive‑ready reports, dashboards, and presentations that support strategic decision‑making.
  • Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships to drive alignment, adoption, and sustain effectiveness of reporting, analytics, and governance routines
  • Analyze and structure complex datasets using Excel and analytical tools to uncover trends, risks, and insights through deep‑dive analyses

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in business execution, operations, program management, or strategy/analytics
  • Proven experience operating in high‑visibility, fast‑paced environments with senior leadership exposure
  • Background in banking or financial services is preferred but not required

Job Expectations:

  • Exceptional storyboarding and executive communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work closely with senior executives and leadership teams
  • Strong influencing skills with the ability to align diverse stakeholders without direct authority
  • High standards for execution discipline, governance, and attention to detail
  • Ability to operate independently while collaborating effectively across teams
  • Strong “one‑team” mindset with a bias toward outcomes over activity

Posting End Date:

4 May 2026

*Job posting may come down early due to volume of applicants.
