About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Business Execution Associate
In this role, you will:
Participate in planning and executing a variety of programs, services, and initiatives, and monitor key indicators to ensure effective performance and control management of assigned operations or business groups
Review basic initiatives including policy or process changes, process improvements, technology enhancements, and conduct regular reviews to identify efficiencies and cost savings opportunities
Receive direction from leaders and exercise independent judgement while developing an understanding of policies and procedures, best practices, and initiatives
Collaborate and consult with mid-level managers or cross-functional business partners
Provide work direction to less experienced Strategy and Execution staff
Required Qualifications:
- 6+ months of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Proficient in MS PowerPoint & MS Excel, within which exposure to Macros would be an added advantage.
- Perform independent, risk-based credit quality reviews to assess adherence to credit policies, procedures, and regulatory expectations
- Support ongoing credit monitoring and quality assurance programs, ensuring consistent application of enterprise QA standards.
- Requires experience and understanding of quality assurance for credit elements for corporate borrowers
- Provide actionable recommendations to strengthen controls, improve credit quality, and prevent recurrence of issues
- Understanding of corporate financial statements and credit elements for borrowers.
Job Expectations:
Exposure, to identify learning and value adding opportunities in procedure/workflow.
Analyzes & interprets various financial/ Credit data to remediate risk as per policy document.
Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
Make a significant contribution toward achieving team goals through knowledge and skills.
Master / Professional education in Finance.
6+months of experience in Banking Industry, with which exposure to credit risk management teams or processes.
Experience in understanding financial statement and financial analysis, with exposure in wholesale lending as an underwriter or reviewer.
Strong understanding of credit risk concepts, lending products, and credit lifecycle.
Working knowledge of Quality Assurance / Quality Control frameworks in a regulated environment
Exposure to U.S financials and analysis and understanding of Leveraged lending loans.
- Understanding and Application of AI Tools: Ability to leverage AI platforms (e.g., Microsoft Copilot, GitHub Copilot, Tachyon, Agentspace) for routine tasks such as summarizing information, drafting content, and analyzing data, while maintaining human oversight.
- Critical Thinking: Ability to interpret AI outputs, validate insights, and make informed business decisions.
- Responsible AI Use: Awareness of ethical considerations, data privacy, and compliance when using AI solutions.
- Adaptability and Continuous Learning: Commitment to upskilling and staying current with emerging technologies.
