The Principal Analytics Consultant is a senior-level expert responsible for leveraging advanced data analytics to solve complex business challenges and influence enterprise-wide strategies. This role focuses on creating metrics, reports, and actionable insights to support decision-making across diverse areas such as workforce, vendor, engineering, risk, strategy, and investment portfolio.
In this role, you will:
- Act as a top subject matter expert to lead data strategies and analytical initiatives with enterprise impact, high risk, and significant scope, cost, and benefits
- Lead the strategy and resolution of the most complex and significant enterprise-wide challenges delivering highly complex analytical solutions that are long term, large scale, and broad reaching
- Provide vision, creativity, innovation, advanced analytical, inductive thinking, and coordination of highly complex activities and resolution
- Provide leadership and industry expertise regarding complex companywide strategies that significantly influence the organization's business and financial operations
- Ensure adherence to compliance and legal regulations and policies on all projects managed
- Strategically lead all levels of professionals and managers across the enterprise and serve as an expert advisor to leadership team
- Represent the company externally in industry networking and technical events
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of Analytics, Reporting, Financial Modeling or Statistics experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications
- Proven track record leading large-scale analytics and data transformation initiatives within complex, matrixed organizations
- Strong experience engaging executive stakeholders, including delivering clear, data-driven insights and recommendations to senior leadership
- Demonstrated ability to translate business strategy into analytics solutions that drive measurable performance and financial outcomes
- Expertise in advanced analytics and data tools (e.g., SQL, Python, R, SAS) with hands-on experience in deep-dive analysis and data mining
- Proficiency in data visualization and BI platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Alteryx, Microsoft Fabric, Databricks) to develop interactive dashboards and reporting frameworks
- Experience developing KPI frameworks, building business cases, and quantifying the financial impact of strategic initiatives
- Strong business acumen with the ability to align analytics initiatives to enterprise goals, risk considerations, and regulatory/compliance needs
- Excellent communication, analytical curiosity, and ability to navigate ambiguity while influencing stakeholders and driving enterprise-wide outcomes
