In this role, you will lead the definition and execution of a comprehensive data strategy, partnering with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, scalable, and resilient architecture that supports key business outcomes. You will ensure alignment with enterprise standards and regulatory requirements while driving consistency across data platforms, integrations, and downstream use cases.
You will design and govern modern data ecosystems—including lakehouse, data mesh, knowledge graphs, and real-time streaming—supporting analytics, reporting, and digital personalization at scale. This role requires deep expertise in data modeling, integration patterns, and cloud-native architectures, with a focus on building trusted, reusable data products for analytics, applications, and AI-driven solutions.
In this role, you will:
- Lead the implementation of complex projects and initiatives that have companywide scope
- Assist in the creation of architectural artifacts for key technology initiatives
- Participate in the definition of future technology architecture and strategy
- Identify medium to high architectural impact projects
- Conduct complex technology and system assessments for architecture solutions
- Communicate the companywide Architecture strategy and direction to both management and systems related teams
- Make decisions in the development and maintenance of architectures
- Understand compliance and risk management requirements for supported areas
- Ensure applications adhere to established Wells Fargo standards, policies, methodologies and industry best practices
- Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of Architecture experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 5+ years of experience designing modern data architectures, including lakehouse, streaming, and event-driven platforms to support scalable data solutions.
- 5+ years of experience building and optimizing data models and cloud-based data environments (Azure, AWS, or GCP) to enable reporting, analytics, and business insights.
- 5+ years of experience developing data pipelines and integration processes, including ETL/ELT, orchestration tools, and implementing data governance and quality standards.
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience designing enterprise-scale semantic data platforms (CDP)
- Experience with real-time personalization and decisioning systems
- Familiarity with graph data models and knowledge graphs (e.g., Neo4j) for relationship-driven analytics
- Experience integrating data platforms with operational systems (APIs, microservices, event streams)
- Exposure to financial services regulatory data requirements (e.g., risk, fraud, AML, reporting)

- This position requires a hybrid in office work schedule
- Ability to travel up to 10%

Pay Range
Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to demonstrated examples of prior performance, skills, experience, or work location. Employees may also be eligible for incentive opportunities.
