About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Lending Operations Senior Manager


In this role, you will:

  • Manage and develop large Loan Production, Loan Servicing, and Commercial or Real Estate Construction Loan teams responsible for loan processing, documentation, pre-closing or closing tasks, loan monitoring, loan servicing, or underwriting activities
  • Engage and influence stakeholders, internal partners, and peers associated with the Lending Operations functional area
  • Identify and recommend opportunities for process improvement and risk control development within Lending Operations functional area
  • Participate in the formulation and implementation of new and revised systems, policies, and guidelines
  • Oversee implementation of practices to ensure compliance with Wells Fargo legal, investor, regulatory, or business policies
  • Determine appropriate strategies and actions of Lending Operations team to meet moderate to high-risk deliverables
  • Interpret and develop policies and procedures for meeting compliance, risk management, and quality standards
  • Collaborate with and influence all levels of professionals, including experienced managers
  • Interact with external customers throughout the conducting of loan processing and liquidations evaluation
  • Provide quality customer service
  • Manage allocation of people and financial resources for Lending Operations
  • Develop and guide a culture of talent development to meet business objectives and strategy


Required Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of Transactions and Processing experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • 3+ years of management or leadership experience


Job Expectations:

  • Lead end‑to‑end Post Booking Certification for Corporate Banking transactions, ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant booking of all loan terms post‑funding.
  • Ensuring adherence to credit approvals, legal documentation, and booking standards.
  • Own operational risk, compliance, and audit readiness by identifying, escalating, and remediating booking and documentation issues.
  • Lead and develop a multi‑layered PBC team in India, driving accountability, capability building, and succession planning.
  • Drive process efficiency, control enhancement, and transformation through workflow optimization, digitization, and data‑driven insights.
  • Own PBC dashboards and metrics such as certification timeliness, exception aging, error rates, and root‑cause themes. Deliver concise, executive‑ready updates to senior operations and business leaders.
