About this Role
Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Lead Data Management Analyst to serve as a senior execution lead within the Chief Operating Office – Data Domain, supporting enterprise data management and data risk priorities. This role plays a critical part in interpreting data management governance requirements and executing controls aligned to those requirements. The position supports regulatory priorities, domain risk management, and sustained governance maturity across business-critical data assets. Help drive and enhance data management governance activities that utilize AI integration.
In this Role, You Will
· Act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders across the COO Data Domain, influencing priorities, roadmaps, and execution decisions tied to data risk
· Interpret data management policy, procedures, regulatory expectations, and partner guidance into practical domain execution
· Execute and mature data governance controls aligned to enterprise requirements, including RCSA, self-assurance activities, and control evidence
· Facilitate and coordinate COO Data Domain issue management activities, including remediation planning and execution for identified data issues
· Coordinate COO Data Domain independent review engagements, including preparation, stakeholder alignment, and response follow‑through
· Drive development, refinement, and ongoing enhancement of governance processes to improve effectiveness and efficiency
· Produce leadership ready materials and socialize outcomes with senior stakeholders across business, risk, compliance, and technology
· Provide experienced guidance to data domain team members, accelerating understanding of requirements and execution expectations
· Represent the COO Data Domain in enterprise data governance forums, contributing execution focused input into standards, controls, and accountability models
· Partner with data stewards, risk, compliance, and technology teams to align governance execution with enterprise data risk priorities
Required Qualifications
· 7+ years of experience in Data Management, Business Analysis, Analytics, Project Management, or equivalent experience through work, education, or military service
Desired Qualifications
· Experience embedding Artificial Intelligence (AI) into data governance (e.g., data quality, anomaly detection, control automation) in banking, aligned with regulatory and model risk standards.
· Proven experience translating enterprise data governance policies and regulatory expectations (e.g., BCBS 239) into actionable execution.
· Strong expertise in data risk management, governance controls, and control validation (RCSA, self-assurance, control evidence).
· Experience leading issue management and remediation efforts, including coordination with risk, audit, and compliance partners.
· Demonstrated success supporting or managing independent reviews (audit, second line, regulatory) and effective responses.
· Ability to simplify complex requirements into clear execution plans and executive-ready deliverables.
· Track record of enhancing governance processes to improve control effectiveness and operational efficiency.
· Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence senior leaders and operate independently.
· Familiarity with data governance and metadata platforms (e.g., Collibra, Informatica, Alation).
· Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Job Expectations:
· Ability to travel up to 10% of the time.
· Hybrid work schedule. Must be able to work from one of the approved job posting locations three (3) days in office & two (2) days remote.

Pay Range
Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to demonstrated examples of prior performance, skills, experience, or work location. Employees may also be eligible for incentive opportunities.
