About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Software Engineer.

In this role, you will:

  • Participate in low to moderately complex initiatives and projects associated with the technology domain, including installation, upgrades, and deployment efforts

  • Identify opportunities for service quality and availability improvements within the technology domain environment

  • Design, code, test, debug, and document for low to moderately complex projects and programs associated with technology domain, including upgrades and deployments

  • Review and analyze technical assignments or challenges that are related to low to medium risk deliverables and that require research, evaluation, and selection of alternative technology domains

  • Present recommendations for resolving issues or may escalate issues as needed to meet established service level agreements

  • Exercise some independent judgment while also developing understanding of given technology domain in reference to security and compliance requirements

  • Provide information to technology colleagues, internal partners, and stakeholders

Required Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of experience in Java Full Stack development (Analysis, design, development, testing and delivery of application software) using Java Spring boot, REST API services, Kafka, Redis etc.

  • ReactJS experience is preferred.

  • 4+ years of good hands-on expertise in deploying applications to Cloud like Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform /Pivotal Cloud Foundry.

  • 4+ years of experience in developing SQL Queries using Oracle, SQL.

  • 4+ years of experience in using DevOps tools and monitoring tools like Artifactory, BlackDuck, CheckMarx, SonarQube, Jenkins, Splunk, AppDynamics, Harness etc.

  • 3+ years of experience in developing Unit, Functional Test Automation, including the design and implementation of automate test cases and framework.

  • 4+ Experience integrating front-end with back-end services

  • 4+ years of Scrum experience working on JIRA, Confluence

  • Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements.

  • Strong knowledge of using various code versioning tools, preferably Git.

  • Strong knowledge of using productivity enhancing tools like Git CoPilot.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.

  • Ability to work directly with US partner teams.

  • Should be good with SDLC processes.

  • Should be willing to work in shifts to provide better overlap with the US partner team & I&P teams

Job Expectations:

  • The team works in Agile scrum, and it is expected that the team members will follow all such guidelines provided by the enterprise and Engineer manager as notified from time to time. 

  • The candidate is expected to follow the Return-to-Work Guidelines as notified by the Enterprise from Time to Time (Number of days in Office and Hours the team member is expected to work from office and from home).

  • The team members are expected to support UAT and Production releases as and when planned and communicated, including weekends.

  • The team works in shifts of 10:30 AM - 07:30 PM or 12:30 PM - 09:30 PM to have maximum overlap with US teams. Team members should be flexible in working in these times
