About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Vice President to join our Structured Products Sales team within the Equity Derivatives business. This role is responsible for accelerating growth of our third-party distribution business while ensuring seamless alignment with—and support of—the Wells Fargo Advisors platform. The Vice President will partner with senior stakeholders across Sales, Trading, Structuring, Legal, Compliance, Risk, Technology and Operations to deliver scalable structured solutions, strengthen key external partnerships, and expand client adoption in a disciplined, risk-managed manner. In this role, you will:

  • Drive the strategy and execution to build and develop the third-party structured products business, including prioritization of target partners, channels, and client segments
  • Own the end-to-end commercialization agenda for third-party distribution, translating market and partner needs into actionable business plans, pipeline management, and measurable growth outcomes
  • Provide senior-level coverage to internal and external stakeholders, presenting product positioning, trade ideas, and platform capabilities with clear articulation of risks, suitability considerations, and approvals
  • Partner with Wells Fargo Advisors leadership and field teams to align structured products initiatives, training, and go-to-market execution across the WFA platform
  • Lead engagement with key external partners and platforms (including iCapital) to expand shelf presence, optimize operating model performance, and improve advisor/client experience
  • Influence and coordinate cross-functional stakeholders (Trading, Structuring, Operations, Technology, Legal, Compliance, Risk) to deliver scalable solutions, resilient processes, and timely issue resolution
  • Mentor and develop Analysts and Associates, providing coaching, deal execution guidance, and feedback to build a high-performing team and strengthen coverage across third-party partners and the WFA platform
  • Ensure business activity aligns with firm policies and regulatory requirements, proactively escalating risks, control gaps, and suitability concerns and driving remediation where needed
  • Partner with Trading and Structuring to originate and deliver client- and platform-specific solutions, including approvals, pricing coordination, and execution support
  • Identify and execute opportunities to enhance platform capabilities (product offering, tools, education, and reporting) to increase adoption and improve outcomes for advisors and clients
  • Represent the Structured Products platform in partner and client meetings, including senior-level presentations, business reviews, and strategic planning discussions
  • Develop and deliver executive-ready performance reporting, including KPIs, pipeline analytics, partner scorecards, and key insights to support leadership decision-making

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of Securities Sales experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

  • A BS/BA degree or higher
  • 4+ yrs experience in equity structured products, specifically a strong working knowledge of the core market linked investment payouts
  • 4+ years working knowledge of operational aspects of an equity structured products business (i.e. note settlement process, regulatory reporting, etc.)
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and across all organizational levels, where flexibility, collaboration, and adaptability are important
  • Ability to work effectively, as well as independently, in a team environment
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including high level of proficiency in modeling
  • Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint) skills
  • Strong writing skills and attention to detail

Job Expectations:

  • Up to 30% travel
  • On-site presence required

  • Registration for FINRA Series 63 (or 66) must be completed within 180 days of hire date if it is not available for transfer upon hire. FINRA recognized equivalents will be accepted.
  • Registration for FINRA Series 7 must be completed within 180 days of hire date if it is not available for transfer upon hire. FINRA recognized equivalents will be accepted.
  • This position is subject to FINRA background screening requirements. Candidates must successfully complete and pass a background check prior to hire. In accordance with FINRA rules, individuals who are subject to statutory disqualification are not eligible to be associated with a FINRA-registered broker-dealer. Successful candidates must also meet and comply with ongoing regulatory obligations, which include periodic screening and mandatory reporting of certain incidents.

Pay Range
 

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to demonstrated examples of prior performance, skills, experience, or work location. Employees may also be eligible for incentive opportunities.

$185,000.00 - $300,000.00
