About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Software Engineer


In this role, you will:

  • Lead moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within technical domain environments
  • Contribute to large scale planning of strategies
  • Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs associated with technology domain, including upgrades and deployments
  • Review moderately complex technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of technologies and procedures
  • Resolve moderately complex issues and lead a team to meet existing client needs or potential new clients needs while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, or compliance requirements
  • Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve technical challenges and achieve goals
  • Lead projects and act as an escalation point, provide guidance and direction to less experienced staff


Required Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.


Desired Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of Java/J2EE Web Application Development, Spring (Core, MVC, AOP, Batch etc..), REST and SOAP Web Services
  • Hands-on experience in software design and development.
  • Working experience on React UI framework, Cloud and Kubernetes Technologies and Oracle
  • Strong knowledge in OOAD, Multi-threaded application development, design and implementation of web applications and Design Patterns.
  • Work experience with GIT, Gradle, AppDynamics, Splunk and CICD tools
  • Understanding of AI and ML methodologies and use of Gen AI in software development life cycle
  • Hands on experience in Unit Testing, Automated Testing using Selenium or Playwright
  • Experience with performance optimization, scaling and security best practices 
  • Hands on experience in delivering projects in Agile (SCRUM) methodology using preferably JIRA. 
  • Experience with Product Development preferably in design/development of customer facing applications

  • Collaborate with team to refine the requirements, design, develop and test the deliverables that meet the objectives 
  • Should be able to contribute actively to In sprint automation, perform code reviews and troubleshoot production issues
  • Collaborate with product team, architects and other stakeholders as needed
