About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking an Equipment Finance Sales professional to support revenue growth and asset recovery efforts across the equipment finance portfolio. This role focuses in negotiating extended rentals and sales with lessees to maximize residual value and supporting the full lifecycle of equipment transactions.

The individual will collaborate with internal partners and external customers to resolve issues, meet business objectives, and identify opportunities to improve processes and strengthen risk controls. Success in this role requires strong attention to detail, effective communication skills, and the ability to work in a team-oriented environment while following established guidelines and escalation protocols.


In this role, you will:

  • Maximize residual income through negotiation of sales and extended rentals with lessees
  • Remarket Equipment in the Secondary Markets maximizing recoveries
  • Identify and recommend opportunities for process improvement and risk control development
  • Make decisions and resolve issues to meet business objectives
  • Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
  • Regularly receive direction from supervisor and escalate non-routine questions within functional area
  • Interact with internal & external customers


Required Qualifications:

  • 6+ months of Equipment Finance Sales Support experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

  • Prior collections experience
  • Experience negotiating equipment sales or lease extensions
  • Sales and Customer service experience
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy skills
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong MS Office skills with a particular emphasis on MS Excel

Job Expectations:

  • This position offers a hybrid work schedule. Current requirements are 4 days in-office, 8 hours a day.
  • Willingness to work on-site at stated location on the job opening
  • This position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship
  • Specific compliance policies may apply regarding outside activities or personal investing; affected employees will be expected to provide information to the Wells Fargo Personal Account Dealing Team and abide by applicable policy requirements if hired. Danbury, CT Pay Range: $25.96 - $34.13 US HOURLY
