Wells Fargo is seeking an Engineering Associate within Enterprise Engineering. Enterprise Engineering covers strategic roles responsible for technology application development across the enterprise, identifies and resolves abstract, systemic, cross-functional issues impacting the effectiveness of the company’s technology capabilities, and builds support for strategies with business and technology leaders.
In this role, you will support governance, standards, and lifecycle management for network technologies and enterprise engineering solutions. You will work closely with Lines of Business (LOBs), engineering teams, and risk partners to ensure that new and existing technologies align with enterprise standards, security requirements, and operational readiness expectations.
This position is ideal for early-career professionals interested in developing expertise in enterprise technology governance, release management, and network infrastructure oversight while gaining exposure to large-scale, highly regulated environments.
You will also participate in the Career Opportunities in Development and Engineering (CODE) Program. The CODE program is a two-year engineering development experience designed for individuals who are early in their technical careers. The program is intended for candidates with approximately 6 months to 2 years of hands-on engineering experience.
The CODE Program offers meaningful, real-world work combined with structured professional development, mentorship, and exposure to a broad range of technologies across the enterprise. Upon successful completion of the program, participants are eligible for promotion and continued employment, subject to business needs and performance expectations.

In this role, you will:
Apply technical knowledge of networking concepts and coding fundamentals to support enterprise engineering solutions and identify opportunities for improvement
Partner with Lines of Business (LOBs) to support business application requests, ensuring alignment with enterprise technology standards and governance requirements
Support the structured Release Management (RM) lifecycle by assisting with planning, testing coordination, and approvals for new or updated vendor hardware and software solutions
Maintain and enhance the Configuration and Standards Engineering (CASE) repository by documenting certified products, supported features, and engineering standards
Assist with onboarding of new technologies by supporting pre-sunrise readiness activities, including validation of new applications and hardware prior to production use
Monitor and track vulnerability remediation efforts in collaboration with engineering and risk teams to ensure compliance with internal policies and industry standards
Identify opportunities to improve processes, streamline workflows, and enhance governance across the network and infrastructure lifecycle
Collaborate with engineering, risk, and operations teams to ensure consistent application of enterprise standards and best practices
Support reporting, documentation, and tracking of engineering activities to enhance visibility and operational effectiveness
Note: This role focuses on governance, coordination, and standards oversight. It does not involve direct design or implementation of network solutions.
Required Qualifications:
6+ months of Technology Engineering and Solutions experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
Exposure to AI and Cloud concepts, including academic, project, or hands-on use of tools such as Microsoft Copilot or similar technologies
Experience gathering and documenting requirements, demonstrated through academic projects, internships, or work experience creating business or functional documentation
Hands-on experience working in Agile environments, including participation in Scrum or Kanban ceremonies (e.g., daily standups, sprint planning, retrospectives) and use of tools such as Jira for backlog and task tracking
Demonstrated ability to apply critical thinking and attention to detail, including completing assignments or deliverables with accuracy while managing multiple priorities and deadlines
Proven written and verbal communication skills, including presenting information, collaborating with team members, or explaining concepts in academic, project, or professional settings
Demonstrated ability to analyze problems and prioritize tasks, including evaluating options, recommending solutions, and managing competing work efforts
Ability to work independently and within team environments, including taking initiative on tasks and appropriately escalating issues when needed
Demonstrated organizational and time management skills, including managing multiple assignments, meeting deadlines, and maintaining structured work processes
Hands-on experience using Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), including creating documents, analyzing basic data, or building presentations
Bachelor’s in computer science or related field preferred but not required.
Job Expectations:
The selected candidate for this role must be able to begin employment by July 12, 2026, in a full‑time capacity.
This position is required to work from the designated posted office location and must be able to meet all expectations of the current hybrid work schedule, including regular in‑office attendance as defined by the team and program requirements.
Actively engage in the two-year CODE Program, including participation in training, mentorship, networking events, and career development activities.
Relocation assistance is not provided for this role.

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to demonstrated examples of prior performance, skills, experience, or work location. Employees may also be eligible for incentive opportunities.
