About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Technology Portfolio & Capacity Management Senior Lead within Consumer Technology. This role provides portfolio-level leadership and accountability for technology capacity planning, demand management, and portfolio governance in support of Consumer Line of Business priorities. This position serves as a strategic advisor and trusted partner to Technology, Business, and Finance leadership, integrating capacity, demand, roadmaps, and investment guardrails into a cohesive, forward-looking portfolio view. This role sits at the intersection of technology delivery, portfolio governance, and business alignment, ensuring Consumer Technology capacity is deployed to the highest value priorities.
In this role, you will:
Portfolio & Capacity Leadership
Own technology portfolio and capacity management activities: including demand planning, workforce alignment, and executive-level reporting across Consumer Technology products.
Provide strategic leadership for capacity planning, demand intake, and resource alignment, ensuring technology delivery capacity is aligned to product priorities and business outcomes.
Serve as the senior point of accountability for portfolio transparency, including RTB/CTB views of capacity, demand drivers, delivery progress, and priority trade-offs.
Strategy, Governance & Decision Making
Establish and lead portfolio governance routines, partnering with Consumer Technology, Consumer Line of Business, Technology Finance, and enterprise planning teams to enable consistent prioritization and execution discipline.
Integrate capacity, demand, and product roadmaps into a forward-looking portfolio perspective that supports prioritization, sequencing, and trade-off decisions.
Lead and facilitate cross-functional portfolio forums to surface delivery risks, capacity constraints, and optimization opportunities.
Exercise independent judgment in resolving complex, multi-product challenges related to capacity constraints and prioritization conflicts.
Risk, Controls & Operational Discipline
Maintain accountability for risk management, controls, and audit readiness related to technology portfolio governance and planning processes.
Ensure adherence to enterprise policies, timelines, planning standards, and governance frameworks.
Business Partnership & Influence
Act as a trusted advisor to senior Consumer Technology and Line of Business leaders, influencing portfolio strategy, capacity decisions, and execution approaches.
Translate complex portfolio and delivery information into clear, actionable insights for executive decision-making.
Required Qualifications:
7+ years of Information Technology in support of Business Services experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following work experience, training, military experience, education
5+ years of Finance experience
Desired Qualifications:
Demonstrated experience leading complex, cross-functional initiatives with enterprise-level impact.
Experience supporting technology portfolio management, TPM functions, or capacity-driven planning models.
Strong understanding of capacity planning, demand management, and portfolio governance frameworks.
Ability to operate effectively in a matrixed environment with senior technology and business stakeholders.
Ability to lead with minimal supervision and manage competing priorities.
Strong executive communication and stakeholder influence skills.
