About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Quality Control Due Diligence Consultant to be based in Singapore, supporting the APAC region.
In this role, you will:
- Perform first-level quality control reviews on customer due diligence files.
- Ensure customer due diligence is completed in line with applicable requirements, policies, and procedures.
- Work closely with KYC Makers to address and resolve any identified issues in line with KYC policy.
- Review due diligence cases and highlight any discrepancies or areas requiring further investigation.
- Support the evaluation of due diligence processes and escalate issues or challenges where appropriate.
- Assist in compiling QC review results and escalate concerns to senior team members or management.
- Handle moderately complex queries with guidance from senior colleagues where needed.
- Apply knowledge of policies, procedures, and compliance requirements in day-to-day activities.
- Collaborate with team members, stakeholders, and internal partners to resolve issues.
- Contribute to identifying common errors or trends observed during QC reviews.
- Support training initiatives by sharing insights and learning from QC findings.
- Work with relevant teams to stay up to date on policy or procedural changes.
- Provide support on ad-hoc requests, including audits, testing, or regulatory-related activities.
Required Qualifications:
- 2+ years of Due Diligence experience, or equivalent (including risk management, client service, operations support, or business process management) demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in Due Diligence, KYC, onboarding, or a related field (e.g. risk, operations, or client services)
- Exposure to quality control processes or customer onboarding / ongoing due diligence activities.
- Good stakeholder communication and teamwork skills.
- Basic to intermediate Excel skills; familiarity with reporting or MI is an advantage.
