About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Analytics Consultant


In this role, you will:

  • Consult, review, and research business, operational, and technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of variable data factors
  • Own regular data extract cadences, identifying automation opportunities where applicable.
  • Perform analysis to support and drive strategic initiatives and business needs
  • Develop a deep understanding of technical systems and business processes to extract data driven insights while identifying opportunities for engineering enhancements
  • Collaborate and consult with peers and partners to resolve issues and achieve goals
  • Identify and integrate AI-driven automation for predictive risk modeling, automated incident response, and self-service service management.
  • Resolve complex, ambiguous, and cross‑functional issues by identifying root causes and delivering practical short‑ and long‑term solutions.
  • Operate with autonomy, exercising sound judgment to balance speed, rigor, and risk and determining when escalation is appropriate.

Required Qualifications:

4+ years of Information Technology Analytics experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education


Desired Qualifications:

  • Strong data and analytics skills 
  • Proven experience in working on operational metrics such as reporting dashboard, capacity planning and forecasting, trends analysis and interpretation 
  • Demonstrated success supporting projects and strategic initiatives in complex, cross‑functional environments, influencing stakeholders and driving change.
  • Strong ability to solve complex, ambiguous problems using strategic, innovative, and system level thinking.
  • Proven capability to operate in uncertainty, drive clarity, and deliver measurable outcomes.
  • Strong execution skills with an iterative, agile mindset; able to adapt and learn while delivering results.
  • Sound judgment in balancing speed, rigor, and risk, with a clear understanding of regulatory, reputational, and people risk expectations.
  • Track record of bringing solutions and options forward, rather than escalating issues without proposed paths.

Job Expectations:

  • Ability to work outside of regular business hours.
  • Willingness to work on-site at stated location on the job opening.
