About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Technology Business Systems Consultant.
In this role, you will:
- Evaluate moderately complex business problems and provide technical assistance in identifying automated systems and related procedures that are cost effective and meet business requirements
- Review and evaluate moderately complex technical business problems that can be resolved through internet or intranet based solutions
- Present recommendations for resolving business problems
- Exercise some independent judgment when developing project budgets, project plans, and schedules
- Provide information about communication between business and technology teams
- Work with business user groups to provide training, handle questions, observe user needs, and document result.
- Lead or support operational functions across multiple business groups and contribute to strategic initiatives
- Ensure efficiency, quality, and cost-effective delivery of operational processes and solutions
- Analyze business, operational, and strategic needs, and provide recommendations to improve performance
- Work independently while providing leadership and support to the team
- Assist in executing programs and initiatives focused on risk mitigation, efficiency, and customer experience
- Collaborate with partners to develop and implement processes, controls, and operational procedures
- Manage relationships and support the execution of cross-functional programs and initiatives
Required Qualifications:
- 2+ years of Business Systems Data experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of wire transfer processes and payment operations
- Experience supporting and troubleshooting Operations applications within a production environment.
- Demonstrated problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Understanding of IT processes, systems, and technologies
- Advanced analytical skills with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to identify, assess, and mitigate operational risks within complex environments
- Experience Operational and client troubleshooting during system-related issues
- Proven ability to lead initiatives or projects with moderate to high complexity
- Strong customer service orientation with a focus on delivering effective solutions
- Demonstrated ability to actively listen translate operational needs into actionable solutions
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to distill complex information into executive-level messaging
- Experience in incident management with strong problem-solving and data analysis capabilities
- Proactive mindset with the ability to monitor operations, identify gaps, and drive solution design
- Experience in crisis and incident management, including development and execution of operational workarounds
- Background in Operations, data analysis, continuous improvement, client experience, and risk and control frameworks
Job Expectations:
- Hours for this role: Saturday and Sunday 8:00am-6:00pm, Monday-Wednesday 2:00pm-11:00pm. Days off are Thursday and Friday. Flexibility will be required to work additional hours, including holidays, depending on business need.
- This is a hybrid role requiring a minimum of three days per week in the office, working full scheduled shifts on-site.
