Senior Lead Data Management Analyst – CDO Data Strategy & Execution

Position Responsibilities and Expected Outcomes:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Lead Data Management Analyst to join the Cheif Data Office (CDO) Data Strategy & Execution team. This team drives the enterprise data strategy, providing alignment across all CDO groups to achieve enterprise objectives. This role is responsible for driving execution and fostering cross-functional collaboration to deliver on outcomes, promote sustainable growth, and create stakeholder value.  

This role will enable execution of critical priorities across teams and enterprise data capabilities. This includes defining and establishing the long-term strategic direction for the CDO, ensuring full alignment with key strategies and policies (Enterprise Data Strategy, Technology Strategy, Data Management Policy and Procedures, etc.), and developing short- and long-term success metrics that span all CDO functions. 

In this role, you will: 

  • Navigate and manage multiple high-impact, time-sensitive priorities with a strategic lens—simplifying complex issues and driving clear connectivity across CDO initiatives to enable informed decision-making and enterprise-wide alignment. 

  • Serve as a trusted advisor and strategic counselor to executive leadership and their teams to drive strategic initiatives and execute tactical solutions across multiple lines of business.   

  • Drive the strategy and resolution of highly complex and unique challenges requiring in depth evaluation and cross channel collaboration.  

  • Deliver solutions that are long-term, large-scale and require vision, creativity, innovation, advanced analytical and inductive thinking. 

  • Provide executive support for special initiatives, engagement related activities, and ad-hoc operational requests. 

 
Required Qualifications: 

  • 7+ years of Data Management, Business Analysis, Analytics, or Project Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.

  • Strategic mindset and the ability to think critically and solve complex problems. 

  • Dynamic, self-driven, and results oriented with a strong sense of prioritization, execution and urgency that can operate in a highly complex organization. 

  • Track record of collaborating and building highly successful partnerships with executives and shared service organizations to deliver solutions effectively and efficiently. 

  • Ability to influence, partner, communicate and negotiate with all levels of leadership to gain commitment to accomplish business goals. 

  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy and ability to thrive in a changing and dynamic environment. 

  • Experience in framing executive conversational, presentations, and analysis with ability to take complex ideas and synthesize key concepts and approaches. 

  • Track record of developing and executing strategies at scale aligned with business objectives. 

  • Able to rapidly pivot and execute emerging high-priority initiatives. 

  • Experience in successfully managing complex strategic programs/projects through project lifecycle from conception through roll-out and ongoing support in a large organization. 

  • Understanding of data management and governance, data strategy, or data technology within the financial services sector. 

  • Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint) skills.

  • Ability to work on-site in one of the listed locations in a hybrid model. There is no option for fully remote work.
