About this role:

Wells Fargo is hiring a Lead Product Manager Credit Card Prescreen Strategy to drive growth across our Branded Credit Card and Consumer Lending portfolio. This role will lead how we identify, target, and engage millions of customers through prescreened offers, partnering across product, marketing, credit risk, and finance to deliver data-driven strategies that improve acquisition, customer experience, and portfolio performance.

We’re looking for a product leader with experience in credit cards or unsecured lending, strong analytics skills, and the ability to operate in highly regulated environments. This is a high-visibility role with direct exposure to senior leadership, offering the opportunity to lead large-scale initiatives and shape the future of our prescreen and originations strategy. In this role, you will:

  • Lead the end-to-end prescreen strategy, including targeting, segmentation, eligibility criteria, and suppression logic
  • Translate business objectives into data-driven acquisition strategies, test frameworks, and execution roadmaps
  • Drive growth and profitability through continuous optimization of prescreen campaigns and credit strategies
  • Analyze market trends, customer behavior, and portfolio performance to inform product and acquisition strategies
  • Partner cross-functionally with risk, marketing, finance, analytics, and operations teams to deliver aligned outcomes
  • Influence and communicate effectively with senior leadership, presenting clear insights and recommendations
  • Ensure all strategies meet regulatory, compliance, and risk management standards
  • Help simplify and enhance customer experience across acquisition channels
  • Own key business metrics tied to originations, profitability, and customer quality


Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of Product Management, credit strategy, product development, strategic planning, process management, change delivery experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education


Desired Qualifications:

  • Strong experience working in data-heavy environments with large, complex datasets
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence stakeholders
  • Proven ability to translate strategy into execution and measurable results
  • Experience in prescreen strategy, credit card originations, or unsecured lending
  • Strong understanding of credit policy, underwriting, and risk frameworks
  • Familiarity with P&L drivers, pricing strategies, and portfolio profitability
  • Hands-on experience with SQL, Python, or SAS for data analysis
  • Strategic thinker with a strong analytical and problem-solving mindset
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity and complex decision-making environments
  • Exceptional communication and storytelling skills, especially with executive audiences
  • Highly collaborative, with the ability to build relationships across matrixed organizations
  • Results-driven with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
  • Proven experience with a leading credit card issuer or in management consulting within financial services, with exposure to consumer lending products (e.g., credit cards, auto loans, personal loans)
  • Prior experience in credit card originations or prescreen strategy.
  • Familiarity with credit policy, credit strategy, risk frameworks, and regulatory compliance considerations
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem‑solving skills, including the ability to structure ambiguous problems, deliver actionable recommendations, and make sound decisions grounded in market insights and business logic
  • Experience preparing polished, executive‑level presentations, metrics, and reports for leadership review
  • Results‑driven mindset with a proven track record of achieving objectives through cross‑functional teams
