About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking an Onboarding Services Associate (Business Execution Associate) who will provide support to the Independent Solutions Transition Services team for Onboarding as part of Wealth & Investment Management. In this role, you will:

  • Provide support to the Transition Team including Financial Advisor (FA) transitions to Independent Solutions and onboarding Financial Network (FiNet) staff in the field and interns
  • Participate in planning and executing a variety of programs, services, and initiatives, and monitor key indicators to ensure effective performance and control management of assigned operations or business groups
  • Review basic initiatives including policy or process changes, process improvements, technology enhancements, and conduct regular reviews to identify efficiencies and cost savings opportunities
  • Receive direction from leaders and exercise independent judgement while developing an understanding of policies and procedures, best practices, and initiatives
  • Perform day to day activities include running background checks, submitting system access requests, sending new office packets, etc.
  • Collaborate and consult with Financial Advisors, branches, mid-level managers, or cross-functional business partners

Required Qualifications:

  • 6+ months of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience with Financial Advisor transitions, onboarding, registration, or compliance
  • Experience working with FINRA background checks and fingerprinting
  • Ability to organize and prioritize work to meet deadlines
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and across all organizational levels, where flexibility, collaboration, and adaptability are important
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office Excel skills
  • Knowledge and understanding of financial industry associated regulatory standards and agencies
  • Exposure to Wells Fargo First Advantage System (FADV), Associate Profile System (APS), and Contingent Resource System (CRS) systems
  • Knowledge and understanding of Salesforce
  • Exposure to Wells Fargo Advisor Gateway application

Job Expectations:

  • This position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship.
  • This position is subject to FINRA background screening requirements. Candidates must successfully complete and pass a background check prior to hire. In accordance with FINRA rules, individuals who are subject to statutory disqualification are not eligible to be associated with a FINRA-registered broker-dealer. Successful candidates must also meet and comply with ongoing regulatory obligations, which include periodic screening and mandatory reporting of certain incidents.
  • Specific compliance policies may apply regarding outside activities and/or personal investing; affected employees will be expected to provide information to the Wells Fargo Personal Account Dealing Team and abide by applicable policy requirements if hired. Information will be shared about expectations during the recruitment process.
  • Follow enterprise guidelines related to in-person office work schedule. Currently, hybrid work schedule (at least 3 days in-person/week) - this is subject to change in the future​.
