About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Business Execution Consultant within the Global Securities Research group that exists in The Investment Solutions Center of Excellence in the Wealth Investment Management division.  

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical professional with a strong foundation in securities research and financial analysis. The ideal candidate will have exposure to US capital markets, hands-on experience with leading financial data platforms, and the ability to derive actionable insights from financial data.

In this role, you will:

Participate in a variety of assigned and ongoing business operations to ensure success in meeting business goals and objectives

Identify opportunities for process improvement by conducting root cause testing of all compliance and business metrics

Determine areas of strength or Business Execution opportunity within defined scope of work

Review and research strategies and action plans to establish effective processes while meeting performance metrics and policy expectations

Utilize independent judgment to guide moderate risk deliverables

Present recommendations to develop, implement, and monitor strategic approaches, effectiveness of support function, and business performance improvement opportunities for managing risks of the business

Exercise independent judgment and provide guidance in diverse support functions and operations for a single business group within a line of business

Collaborate and consult with leaders and executive management

Provide work direction to less experienced Strategy and Execution staff

Conduct in-depth securities research, including equity and fixed-income instruments.

Analyze financial statements, earnings reports, and market trends to support investment decisions.

Develop and maintain financial models, valuation frameworks, and research reports.

Monitor US markets, including economic indicators, sector developments, and company-specific news.

Utilize financial data platforms such as Bloomberg and FactSet to extract, analyze, and interpret data.

Prepare concise summaries, presentations, and insights for stakeholders.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support research and strategic initiatives.

Required Qualifications:

2+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field (CFA/FRM progress is a plus).

Proven exposure to securities research and investment analysis.

Strong understanding of US financial markets, instruments, and regulatory environment.

Hands-on experience with tools such as Bloomberg, FactSet, or similar financial research platforms.

Sound understanding of financial analysis, including valuation techniques (DCF, comparable analysis, etc.).

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling.

Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Attention to detail with a high level of accuracy.

Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
