About this role:

The  Wholesale Operations team is seeking a Technology Enablement Principal Engineer.  The Wholesale Technology organization delivers technology solutions that enable wholesale operations, control functions, and strategic execution priorities.

This Technology Enablement Principal Engineer will lead engineering productivity, agile maturity, and AI-enabled SDLC transformation across the portfolio. This person will partner with CIOs and product/engineering leaders to define, measure, and improve delivery performance using standardized metrics and targeted interventions, translating enterprise priorities into measurable gains in speed, quality, and capability adoption.

In this role, you will:

  • Act as a trusted advisor to leadership, shaping engineering strategy and influencing solutions for complex, cross-functional technology needs

  • Define and operationalize engineering productivity metrics, drive improvements in cycle time, flow efficiency, backlog health, and code quality

  • Lead the adoption of GenAI and modern SDLC practices, improving usage, feature adoption, and integration into daily workflows

  • Identify and resolve systemic, enterprise-wide bottlenecks through data-driven insights and targeted interventions

  • Translate business and technology strategy into scalable engineering solutions that improve speed, quality, and efficiency

  • Design and execute enablement strategies (agile, product, engineering practices), including playbooks, communities of practice, and targeted training

  • Provide vision, innovation, and forward-looking recommendations aligned to industry best practices and emerging technologies

  • Engage across the enterprise as a senior technical leader, influencing executives and driving alignment across organizations

  • Deliver clear, actionable reporting on performance gaps, progress, and required actions

  • Serve as the single point of accountability for engineering productivity and enablement outcomes across the portfolio

Required Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

  • Proven track record of improving engineering productivity metrics at scale through process, tooling, and operational excellence

  • Experience leading Agile transformation initiatives and driving end-to-end SDLC optimization to enhance delivery speed and quality

  • Demonstrated success in enabling AI/GenAI capabilities within development workflows, integrating them to improve developer efficiency and innovation

  • Demonstrated expertise across Wealth & Investment Management, Corporate Investment Banking and/or Commercial Banking

  • Strong strategic thinking capabilities, with experience supporting AI initiatives and large-scale digital transformation efforts

  • Solid data engineering and analytics background, with a preference for experience in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) environments

  • Proven leadership in engineering productivity, including driving adoption of new tools, optimizing their usage, and influencing engineering teams to maximize efficiency

  • Highly technical and hands-on, with the ability to contribute directly through coding, prototyping, and proof-of-concept (POC) development

Iselin, NJ Pay Range: $191,000 - $248,000 - $305,000

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to demonstrated examples of prior performance, skills, experience, or work location. Employees may also be eligible for incentive opportunities.

$159,000.00 - $305,000.00
