About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking an Technology Business Services Associate within Technology Strategic Vendor Management (SVM) to support execution of vendor strategy, reporting, and engagement activities across key technology partners. This role sits within Technology Business Development and contributes to building a more coordinated, data-driven, and enterprise-wide view of vendor activity, performance, and opportunity. The individual will help produce structured insights, support executive materials, and improve transparency across vendor engagements, contracts, and spend. The role is designed for someone early in their career who is detail-oriented and interested in developing experience across technology, sourcing, finance, and vendor strategy while supporting a high-impact, cross-functional program. In this role, you will:
Participate in coordinating activities and resources in support of technical initiatives with low to moderate risk and complexity within Technology Business Services
Review basic issues, policies, and procedures for which answers can be quickly obtained related to lower risk tasks and deliverables with narrower impact
Receive direction from supervisor and exercise judgement within defined parameters while developing understanding of function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
Provide information to managers, functional colleagues, and stakeholders, including internal as well as external customers after gathering requirements, developing documentation, tracking and reporting initiative, and budget status
Support development of vendor briefings and executive materials
Track and organize vendor activity and engagement data
Assist in reporting and analytics for vendor performance and spend
Contribute to standardization of SVM reporting and documentation
Support coordination of RFPs and vendor-related initiatives
Maintain vendor data and assist in building a single source of truth
Partner with cross-functional stakeholders
Required Qualifications:
6+ months of Technology Business Services experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail
Ability to structure information into clear, concise summaries and presentations
Experience working with Excel or similar tools to analyze and track data
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including ability to develop professional materials
Exposure to vendor management, sourcing, finance, or technology environments
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Comfort working across teams and gathering inputs from multiple stakeholders
Interest in technology strategy, vendor relationships, and business operations
Pay Range
Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to demonstrated examples of prior performance, skills, experience, or work location. Employees may also be eligible for incentive opportunities.
