About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Business Execution Consultant within the I&P CIB Front Office COO Business Solution and Enablement group. This group is focused on building products for various business lines within CIB. The incumbent would be required to take the role of a solution consultant / product owner (individual contributor) and would be responsible for execution and delivery of product roadmap within the bank, tracking and reporting delivery schedules, timelines and derailers, including highlighting potential scope creep, bottlenecks and challenges to stakeholders. The individual is expected to independently manage and execute end-to-end delivery of their deliverables, work with technology and business stakeholders and run respective scrums. Finally, the candidate will be expected to actively participate in global team discussions, projects/process enhancement plans and encourage creative thinking amongst the team.


In this role, you will:

  • Lead cross functional teams to strategize, plan, and execute a variety of programs, services and initiatives
  • Drive accountability for assigned initiatives, limit risk exposure, and create efficiencies as appropriate
  • Review strategic approaches and effectiveness of support function and business performance
  • Perform assessments through fact finding and data requiring creative approaches to solving complex issues, and develop appropriate solutions or recommendations
  • Make decisions in highly complex and multifaceted situations requiring solid understanding of business group's functional area or products, facilitate decision making and issue resolution, and support implementation of developed solutions and plans
  • Collaborate and consult with members of the Business Execution team and team leaders to drive strategic initiatives
  • Influence, guide and lead less experienced Strategy and Execution staff within the group


Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications / Skills 

  • Experience consulting with internal clients and business 

  • Success in working with leadership teams 

  • Experience leading regulatory and compliance projects 

  • Strong presentation and stakeholder management skills.

    • MBA/equivalent advanced degree or equivalent experience 

    • 5+ years of experience in product delivery, solution design and execution 

    • Experience with Lending Application Suites such as nCino, LoanIQ and familiarity with CRE tools like RealINSIGHT 

    • Familiarity with workflow tools like ServiceNow and JIRA 

    • Familiarity with Tableau/Power BI for reporting and insights 

    • Knowledge of system testing methodologies and UAT 

    • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills including ability to interpret and validate AI outputs 

    • Adaptability and continuous learning mindset including staying current with AI technologies 

    • Ability to ensure responsible AI usage including ethical considerations, privacy and compliance 

Job Expectations:

  • Be responsible for execution & delivery of lending and client products including Commercial Real Estate (CRE) lending solutions such as Real INSIGHT and comparable loan management platforms 

  • Maintain & report key SLA’s including delivery timelines, scope creep, bottlenecks, risk and control framework reviews 

  • Track capacity, performance metrics and drive execution of critical programs 

  • Engage senior stakeholders and identify opportunities to leverage AI for improved efficiency, automation and decision-making 

Functional and technical skills: 

  • Understand business requirements, goals and objectives and design target state solutions 

  • Breakdown complex projects into capabilities, features and user stories 

  • Develop product strategy and roadmap aligned with business priorities including AI-enabled enhancements 

  • Strong domain knowledge on CIB business model including CRE lending lifecycle, platforms such as RealINSIGHT and/or FINFLUX, LoanPro, FIS Modern Banking Platform, Cadence, Memo Informatica 

  • Leverage tools such as JIRA, MS Office and AI platforms for summarization, documentation and analysis with appropriate human oversight 

  • Apply critical thinking to validate AI outputs and drive informed business decisions 

Executive Communication: 

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to create executive-ready presentations 

  • Present insights (including AI-assisted analysis) to persuade and educate stakeholders 

  • Promote responsible usage of AI outputs in communication and business decisions 

Change mindset and collaboration: 

  • Collaborate across global teams and champion adoption of AI and emerging technologies 

  • Identify opportunities for operational efficiencies including AI-driven process improvements 

  • Drive process improvements using business analysis, data insights and AI-assisted recommendations 

Risk & Control Mindset: 

  • Assess and mitigate risks using KRIs while ensuring compliance with policies and regulations 

  • Ensure ethical AI usage including data privacy, compliance and governance standards 

  • Collaborate with risk teams to monitor issues and ensure responsible AI deployment 

Hybrid working model : 

  • 3 out of 5 days working from office 

Shift Timings: 

  • 1:30 PM – 10:30 PM IST (may vary) 

Please Note: Flexibility expected for weekend on-call during release activities
