The Lead Information Security Analyst will serve in a support role on the Cybersecurity Business Information Security Officer (BISO) who will report directly to the BISO. This role will provide hands-on experience to support the Senior Leads and BISO mission of proactively driving down risk and managing and owning the cyber posture for the CIO teams and the lines of business. As a Lead Information Security Analyst, you will be part of a team of cyber professionals that share a passion for cyber risk management and solutioning cyber challenges.
This is a role for an experienced cybersecurity professional who can identify meaningful risks, turn complex data into actionable insights, and confidently present risks and recommendations to senior stakeholders. The focus of this role is assessing risk across multiple Cybersecurity domains such as Application Security, Identity & Access Management (IAM), and AI Security. You will analyze data from multiple sources, identify trends and patterns, evaluate technologies and tools for potential security concerns, and communicate well-vetted risks to business and technology leaders.
Success in this role requires strong analytical thinking, executive-level communication skills, and the ability to influence decisions through clear, data-driven recommendations. Your superpower is seeing trends and patterns where others cannot and building a compelling narrative, explaining your observations. You can build crisp, professional presentations that speak to the narrative, while anticipating senior stakeholder questions. This is not a developmental role. We are seeking someone who has already performed this type of work, understands cyber risk, and can quickly establish credibility with senior audiences.
In this role, you will:
- Provide cybersecurity context to business issues, and provide business and technology perspective back to Cybersecurity
- Represent cybersecurity domains through deep understanding of cybersecurity, cyber risks, priorities and initiatives
- Serve the cybersecurity needs of the business and function focused teams through proactively anticipating risks, and proactively providing solutions to address challenges
- Work with BISO and team to consistently demonstrate a hands-on approach, proactive engagement, diligent and focused on delivering commitments aligned to cyber strategic, tactical and operational priorities, and bi-directionally with the lines of business and CIO teams,
- Apply a deep understanding of cybersecurity domains
- Identify opportunities and strategies for continuous cyber risk based improvement
- Collaborate and influence throughout all levels including more experienced managers
- Develop state-of-the-art communications and reporting to serve the needs of communicating on business forums through risk committees and other senior leadership forums.
- Consult the organization on complex security issues and findings
- Evaluate and interpret internal and companywide information security policies, processes, standards, and participate with more experienced leaders in decision making on information security
- Demonstrate foundational AI literacy by effectively using approved AI tools to support everyday work
- Apply AI tools for activities such as research, summarization, drafting, analysis, and decision support
- Exercise sound judgment when interpreting and using AI‑generated outputs
- Understand basic AI limitations and appropriate use cases within daily workflows
- Adhere to data privacy, security, and data‑handling standards when using AI tools
- Use AI ethically and responsibly, in alignment with company policies and guidelines
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of Information Security Analysis experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 1+ years of experience in Power BI
- Experience in pulling and analyzing data and delivering executive presentations
Desired Qualifications:
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity or equivalent
- Well versed experience and knowledge across the cybersecurity domains
- Demonstrate clear, articulate written and verbal communication
- Experience having worked in financial services institutions
Job Expectations:
- Travel up to 10% of the time
