About this role:

The Consumer Banking and Lending Shared Services Team is looking for a Process Engineer to support our Card, Premier, Merchant Services and Marketing groups.  The Wells Fargo Banking and Lending Division helps consumers achieve their financial goals every day through our many products including Wells Fargo Credit Card, Wells Fargo Home Lending, Wells Fargo Branch Network and Wells Fargo Premier.

In this role, you will:

  • Create process maps and update our current process map inventory.

  • Develop and lead process design or improvement initiatives

  • Utilize process expertise for multiple business groups and provide data

  • Be responsible for completing integrated process analyses, identify procedural and control deficiencies, and recommend solutions

  • Work on complex problems involving process segments to identify risks, impacts, and opportunities

  • Consult with leaders to understand, adapt research, and create alternatives for consideration

  • Effectively communicate relevant information to business partners and leadership

  • Interpret policies, procedures, and compliance requirements

  • Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals

  • Interact with internal customers

  • Receive direction from leaders and exercise independent judgment while developing the knowledge to understand function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements


Required Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of Process Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

  • Associate’s degree or higher.

  • Experience creating, documenting, and maintaining business process maps and process inventories.

  • Hands-on experience using iGrafx for process modeling, process documentation, workflow analysis, and process improvement initiatives.

  • Strong understanding of business process management (BPM) methodologies and continuous improvement practices.

  • Proven ability to identify process inefficiencies, risks, control gaps, and recommend sustainable solutions.

  • Ability to interpret and apply policies, procedures, risk, and compliance requirements within business processes.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to evaluate complex processes and drive improvements.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to present process recommendations to leadership and business partners.

  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and consulting with stakeholders at multiple organizational levels.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining strong attention to detail.

  • Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, process optimization, or operational excellence methodologies
