About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Valuations Coordinator in Asset Monitoring Borrowing Base Team as part of Commercial Banking Operations. This position is responsible for Asset Based Lending analysis, including but not limited to accounts receivable and accounts payable as well as credit insurance common to asset-based lending. In this role, you will:

  • Perform valuation reviews to confirm appropriate content and compliance with federal, regulatory and bank policy

  • Evaluate and decision collateral for moderately complex consumer requests

  • Suspend collateral decision until deficiencies are resolved

  • Review and decision of collateral valuations

  • Assist with the calculations and preparation of reports for reviews

  • Interact daily with internal and external partners to clarify quality concerns identified during the review process

  • Provide guidance to less experienced staff

  • Interact with organizational department on a wide range of knowledge

  • Interact with internal or external customers in a customer support role

  • Experienced with AFS, (Account Finance System), Loan IQ, AssetReader, to calculate borrowers' financials

  • Design and implement borrowing base certificate (BBC) structures and customized reporting tools which are tailored to each client’s electronic reporting formats, as well as the calculations needed for each deal structure

  • Provide ongoing BBC, application, and reporting tool support across both legacy and new platforms, including oversight of deal structure changes and SOR implementation, as well as handling questions and requests from partners and clients

  • Produce both detailed analysis and high-level trending information to facilitate efficient processes for the various groups we support


Required Qualifications:

  • 1+ year of Valuations or Lending support experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education


Desired Qualifications:

  • Accounting or finance experience

  • Experience with internal systems: Automated Financial System (AFS), Electronic Tracking Reporting and Compliance (eTrac), Blast

  • Experience with pipeline management

  • Ability to review and interpret complex commercial loan documents

  • Strong Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint) skills

  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy

  • Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

  • Effective organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritization skills.

  • Ability to meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment.
