Third Party Cyber Assurance Capability Lead

The Third Party Cyber (TPC) Assurance Capability Lead is responsible for advancing the capabilities, processes, and frameworks that support third-party cybersecurity assurance across the enterprise. This role serves as the primary technical capability leader within Third Party Cybersecurity Assurance, partnering across Cybersecurity, Technology, Engineering, Architecture, Risk, Governance, and Business teams to establish and mature scalable monitoring, assurance, and automation capabilities. A key focus of this role is advancing strategic initiatives including Data Transmission Monitoring, assurance automation, and continuous monitoring capabilities that strengthen third-party cybersecurity risk oversight and improve operational effectiveness.


The successful candidate will lead complex discovery and solution-design efforts, translate cybersecurity and technology concepts into practical assurance outcomes, and drive the development of strategic assurance and monitoring capabilities that improve risk visibility, operational efficiency, and program maturity.


The position requires strong technical acumen, analytical thinking, and stakeholder leadership skills, along with the ability to influence cross-functional initiatives and bridge business, risk, and technology perspectives.


In this role, you will:

  • Lead cross-functional discovery, analysis, and solution-design efforts involving cybersecurity, technology, engineering, architecture, and business stakeholders.
  • Establish and mature third-party cybersecurity assurance capabilities, continuous monitoring approaches, assurance automation strategies, and data-driven risk analytics.
  • Partner with Architecture, Engineering, Product, and Channel SMEs to translate assurance objectives into scalable monitoring and reporting solutions.
  • Develop assurance models, control-to-signal mappings, telemetry requirements, and risk indicators that strengthen continuous monitoring capabilities.
  • Identify opportunities to improve risk visibility, operational efficiency, data quality, and governance outcomes through automation and technology enablement.
  • Analyze complex technology ecosystems, data flows, integrations, and third-party service relationships to support assurance and monitoring objectives.
  • Lead and support strategic initiatives involving Data Transmission Monitoring (ARGUS), third-party monitoring, risk attribution, and assurance automation.
  • Present recommendations, capability roadmaps, and monitoring insights to leadership and governance forums.
  • Support long-term capability planning and continuous improvement efforts that strengthen third-party cybersecurity assurance maturity.
  • Demonstrate foundational AI literacy by effectively using approved AI tools to support everyday work.
  • Apply approved Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools and capabilities to accelerate research, analysis, monitoring, reporting, documentation, and solution development activities, while applying sound technical judgment, validating outputs, and ensuring alignment with cybersecurity, privacy, compliance, and ethical standards.
  • Demonstrate foundational AI literacy by effectively using approved AI tools to support everyday work
  • Apply AI tools for activities such as research, summarization, drafting, analysis, and decision support
  • Exercise sound judgment when interpreting and using AI‑generated outputs
  • Understand basic AI limitations and appropriate use cases within daily workflows
  • Adhere to data privacy, security, and data‑handling standards when using AI tools
  • Use AI ethically and responsibly, in alignment with company policies and guidelines

Required Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of Information Security Analysis experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • Develop assurance models, control-to-signal mappings, telemetry requirements, and risk indicators that strengthen continuous monitoring capabilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead highly complex initiatives across multiple stakeholder groups.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills with the ability to conduct independent technical research, assess emerging technologies, and develop practical recommendations for complex cybersecurity and assurance challenges.
  • Experience evaluating technology architectures, cloud services, APIs, system integrations, data exchanges, or monitoring technologies to support cybersecurity, risk management, or assurance objectives.


Desired Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity monitoring, risk management, assurance, governance, or third-party risk management practices.
  • Experience with APIs, system integrations, data exchanges, observability, telemetry, or monitoring technologies.
  • Knowledge of cloud service providers, modern application architectures, SaaS platforms, and technology ecosystems.
  • Experience defining requirements for monitoring, reporting, analytics, automation, or technology-enabled assurance solutions.
  • Familiarity with continuous controls monitoring (CCM), assurance automation, control-to-signal mapping, telemetry-driven monitoring, evidence automation, or continuous assurance concepts.
  • Experience working with data analytics, reporting platforms, AI-enabled analysis, or automation technologies to improve operational processes.
  • Experience supporting large-scale cybersecurity, risk management, technology transformation, or operational modernization initiatives.
  • Experience partnering with cybersecurity, engineering, architecture, and technology subject matter experts to evaluate complex technical solutions, architectures, data flows, integrations, and operational processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to evaluate complex technical problems and translate business, risk, cybersecurity, and architectural objectives into scalable technology-enabled solutions.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and relationship management skills.
  • Ability to influence and build consensus across technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience analyzing technical architectures, system interactions, integration patterns, and data flows to develop monitoring, assurance, automation, or risk management solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to engage credibly with senior engineers, architects, and cybersecurity subject matter experts to evaluate technical designs, identify risks, and influence solution direction.

Pay Range
 

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to demonstrated examples of prior performance, skills, experience, or work location. Employees may also be eligible for incentive opportunities.

$159,000.00 - $305,000.00
