Communications Specialist, Wealth & Investment Management

About this role:

This position strengthens employee engagement, reinforces enterprise messaging, and supports business priorities through clear, timely, and engaging communications for Wealth & Investment Management. The person in this role develops content, executes recurring communications, and coordinates review processes to deliver accurate and effective communications across multiple channels. The person partners with Corporate Communications colleagues and WIM stakeholders to create compelling content, support communication initiatives, and deliver engaging experiences for employees and business partners.

This position is based in Charlotte, NC; Minneapolis, MN; or St. Louis, MO and follows a hybrid work schedule. The Wells Fargo job profile for this role is Communications Consultant.


In this role, you will:

  • Inbox Coordination: Manage communications requests and facilitate timely stakeholder responses

  • Newsletter Execution: Coordinate and distribute recurring news content for business priorities

  • Employee Storytelling: Develop content highlighting employees, culture, and business success

  • Story Planning: Identify content opportunities tied to business initiatives and employee stories

  • Content Development: Create and edit communications for multiple audiences and channels

  • Audience Messaging: Adapt content to support audience needs while maintaining brand standards

  • Review Coordination: Facilitate approval workflows with compliance and business stakeholders

  • Content Stewardship: Maintain communication resources, biographies, and business materials

  • Channel Publishing: Stage and publish content through approved internal and external channels

Required Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of Public Relations, Media Relations or Corporate Communications experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education


Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience managing communications inboxes and stakeholder inquiries

  • Experience coordinating recurring newsletters and communication campaigns

  • Experience developing employee stories and business-focused content

  • Experience writing and editing communications for varied audiences

  • Experience coordinating content reviews across multiple stakeholders

  • Experience managing communication reviews and approval workflows


Office Locations & Pay Ranges:

  • 401 South Tryon Street - Charlotte, NC ($68,000 - $104,000)

  • 600 South 4th Street - Minneapolis, MN ($75,000 - $114,000)

  • 114 North Beaumont Street - St. Louis, MO ($68,000 - $104,000)

Pay Range
 

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to demonstrated examples of prior performance, skills, experience, or work location. Employees may also be eligible for incentive opportunities.

$68,000.00 - $114,000.00
