About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking an Institutional Investment Operations Representative to support critical investment operations that help deliver accurate, efficient, and timely services to institutional clients. In this role, you will perform operational and transactional activities, partner with internal teams to resolve issues, and help ensure smooth execution of investment processes. This is an excellent opportunity to build expertise in investment operations, gain exposure to global financial markets, and contribute to a team that drives operational excellence, risk management, and client satisfaction across Wells Fargo's Institutional Investment business.
In this role, you will:
- Perform moderately complex operational activities for institutional trades within established procedures, systems, and controls
- Review and process time-sensitive trade documents for accuracy and completeness, escalating exceptions as appropriate
- Apply working knowledge of unit functions, systems, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements to complete assigned activities
- Support audit requirements by maintaining accurate documentation and providing requested information within established timelines
- Address compliance and corporate governance matters within defined procedures and escalate issues requiring additional review
- Interact with internal and external customers in accordance with established processes, procedures, and service expectations
- Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve operational issues and achieve process-specific goals
- Execute assigned activities under moderate supervision and seek guidance for complex or unfamiliar situations.
Required Qualifications:
- 1+ year of Institutional Investment Operations support experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
