Senior Lead, Payments Change Delivery

About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Lead Business Execution Consultant to join the Change Delivery team within the Global Payments & Liquidity (GPL) line of business. In this role, you will provide strategic leadership and execution support for the Automated Clearing House (ACH) and Instant Payments Level 3 portfolios. This role will partner closely with product leaders and collaborate across Product, Technology, and Change Delivery to advance priorities, strengthen delivery discipline, and drive alignment. The successful candidate will bring excellent interpersonal skills, curiosity, learning agility, and the ability to apply prior experience to close leadership gaps, anticipate challenges, and proactively address risks, impediments, and dependencies.

In this role, you will:

  • Provide strategic leadership and business execution support for the ACH and Instant Payments Level 3 portfolios, partnering closely with product leaders to align priorities, outcomes, and delivery plans
  • Build strong, positive relationships with stakeholders at all levels across Product, Technology, Change Delivery, and other partner organizations
  • Apply business and delivery expertise to identify and close leadership or execution gaps, clarify ownership, and maintain momentum across complex initiatives
  • Proactively identify, assess, escalate, and drive resolution of risks, impediments, issues, and cross-functional dependencies
  • Lead and facilitate portfolio routines, Agile ceremonies, working sessions, leadership discussions, and decision-making forums that support timely execution
  • Develop clear, concise updates, recommendations, and executive-level presentations that communicate progress, decisions, dependencies, and areas requiring leadership attention
  • Quickly learn new business, product, and delivery concepts; ask thoughtful questions; and translate insights into practical actions and sustainable improvements

Required Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience in Product, Change Delivery, Business Execution, or a related function in a banking, financial institution, or complex matrixed environment
  • Experience supporting Agile product transformation or operating model change
  • Experience facilitating Agile ceremonies, cross-functional working sessions, and leadership forums
  • Payments industry experience, preferably with ACH and/or Instant Payments
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, influencing, and relationship-management skills across all levels of an organization

Job Expectations:

  • This position is a hybrid work model. Must be willing to work out of the Charlotte, NC, Tampa, FL, Minneapolis, MN, or San Francisco, CA office approximately 3 days a week

Pay Range:

  • Charlotte, NC: $139,000 - $217,000
  • Tampa, FL: $139,000 - $217,000
  • Minneapolis, MN: $153,000 - $239,000
  • San Francisco, CA: $167,000 - $260,000

This role is a P5 Business Execution Consultant supporting the GPL organization as a Delivery Lead and Change Initiative Manager. The individual will lead strategic product and change initiatives, coordinate cross-functional execution, manage governance and compliance requirements, facilitate executive forums, and drive successful delivery of investment planning and product transformation efforts across GPL.

Pay Range

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to demonstrated examples of prior performance, skills, experience, or work location. Employees may also be eligible for incentive opportunities.
$139,000.00 - $260,000.00
