About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Real Estate Asset Manager to manage complex real estate interests held within wealth management fiduciary accounts. This role provides an opportunity to combine real estate expertise, fiduciary asset management, risk management, and relationship management while overseeing a diverse portfolio of trust-owned and closely held real estate assets.
The Lead Real Estate Asset Manager will evaluate asset performance, develop strategies, manage complex real estate transactions, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to support sound fiduciary decision-making and exceptional client service.
In this role, you will:
- Lead complex initiatives involving portfolios of trust-owned or closely held real estate interests within wealth management fiduciary accounts.
- Perform ongoing asset reviews, operating performance analysis, and valuations to assess and manage risk, support account acceptance and asset-holding recommendations, and maintain compliance with banking regulations, fiduciary standards, and Wells Fargo investment policy.
- Oversee real estate transactions and asset activities, including acquisitions, dispositions, lease negotiations, renovations, and appraisals.
- Build strong relationships with internal partners, business stakeholders, and centers of influence to resolve asset-related matters, support sale negotiations, contribute to business development, and deliver a high level of client service.
- Develop and present real estate recommendations and asset strategies to committees, clients, and other key stakeholders.
- Make decisions in complex, multifaceted situations while applying a strong understanding of policies, procedures, regulatory requirements, and fiduciary specialty asset management.
- Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve complex issues, advance initiatives, and achieve business objectives.
- Clearly communicate analysis, recommendations, decisions, and complex concepts to business executives, attorneys, CPAs, and Wells Fargo internal professionals.
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of Fiduciary Specialty Asset Products experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
- Advanced commercial real estate and real estate asset management experience
- Experience managing real estate assets held in trust, fiduciary, or wealth management accounts
- Strong knowledge of real estate valuation methodologies, market analysis, and property financial performance
- Advanced financial modeling skills, including proficiency with Excel and Argus
- Knowledge of regulatory and fiduciary requirements within financial services
- Strong stakeholder management, negotiation, and communication skills, including experience working with clients and professional partners
- Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) or Certified Property Manager (CPM) designation
Job Expectations:
- This position is not available for Visa sponsorship
- Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
- Ability to work in a hybrid environment which you will be required to work at least 3 days in the office and 2 days remote

Pay Range
Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to demonstrated examples of prior performance, skills, experience, or work location. Employees may also be eligible for incentive opportunities.
$100,000.00 - $179,000.00
