Lead Business Execution Consultant, Workday Core HCM

About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Business Execution Consultant to support the Workday Core HCM product team. This role will focus on partnering across product, engineering, and business teams to deliver strategic initiatives, enhance system capabilities, and drive effective execution across complex programs. In this role, you will:

  • Lead cross functional teams to strategize, plan, and execute programs, services, and initiatives
  • Drive accountability for assigned initiatives, limit risk exposure, and create efficiencies
  • Review strategic approaches and evaluate business and support function performance
  • Perform assessments using data and fact finding to solve complex issues and develop recommendations
  • Make decisions in highly complex situations and support implementation of solutions
  • Collaborate with Business Execution leaders to drive strategic initiatives
  • Influence and guide less experienced team members
  • Partner with engineering teams to translate business requirements into solutions
  • Proactively gather and define requirements with business stakeholders
  • Support Agile processes including working in JIRA and contributing to backlog priorities
  • Participate in demos and stakeholder reviews to ensure alignment and transparency

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • Workday product knowledge and understanding

Desired Qualifications:

  • 5+ years in Core HCM or other Workday products
  • Operate in a fast-paced and evolving environment supporting both core and strategic initiatives
  • Demonstrate adaptability and willingness to take ownership of new areas
  • Actively contribute to team capacity by leaning into high priority work
  • Support collaboration across geographically distributed teams and initiatives
  • Workday Core HCM certified

Job Expectations:

  • Hybrid work schedule based on posted location.
  • Position not eligible for Visa sponsorship.
  • Ability to travel up to 5% of the time.
  • Salary Range for Minneapolis, MN: $131,000 - $206,000 USD

    Pay Range
     

    Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to demonstrated examples of prior performance, skills, experience, or work location. Employees may also be eligible for incentive opportunities.

    $119,000.00 - $206,000.00
