About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Systems Operations Engineer
In this role, you will:
- Lead or participate in managing all installed systems and infrastructure within the Systems Operations functional area
- Contribute in increasing system efficiencies and lowering the human intervention time on related tasks
- Review and analyze moderately complex operational support systems, application software, and system management tools to ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability
- Work with vendors and other technical personnel for problem resolution
- Lead team to meet technical deliverables while leveraging solid understanding of technical process controls or standards
- Collaborate with vendors and other technical personnel to resolve technical issues and achieve highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability
Required Qualifications:
- 4+ years of Systems Engineering, Technology Architecture experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Power BI Analytics & Dashboard Development
- Design, develop, and maintain enterprise Power BI dashboards supporting:
- Reliability Framework Analytics
- RF Backlog Management
- Stability Reporting
- Executive and Operational (Zero Touch Production) Scorecards
- Develop reusable semantic models, DAX measures, and KPIs.
- Build drill-through and hierarchical reporting capabilities.
- Optimize Power BI datasets and report performance.
- Support dashboard modernization and reporting portfolio rationalization initiatives.
SQL & Data Engineering
- Develop and maintain SQL-based reporting solutions and data models.
- Design complex SQL queries, views, stored procedures, and reporting datasets.
- Support data transformation and aggregation requirements.
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and reconciliation across source systems.
- Create scalable reporting architecture supporting enterprise reporting needs.
SSIS Development & Data Integration
- Design and support SSIS ETL solutions.
- Build automated ingestion pipelines for:
- ServiceNow
- ARIO
- JIRA
- Operational Data Lake sources
- Perform data mapping, transformation, validation, and scheduling.
- Support migration and modernization of legacy reporting solutions.
ServiceNow Reporting & Integration
- Partner with ServiceNow teams to:
- Develop automated reporting solutions
- Integrate ServiceNow operational data into reporting platforms
- Support reliability, incident, change, problem, and CSI reporting
- Build APIs and automated feeds between ServiceNow and reporting environments.
- Support automation initiatives leveraging Power Automate and ServiceNow workflows.
Reporting Automation & AI Enablement
- Develop automated reporting and notification capabilities.
- Support Power Automate-based workflows.
- Participate in AI-driven reporting and analytics initiatives.
- Assist with implementation of automated insight generation and trend analysis solutions.
- Support integration of AI-generated insights into operational workflows.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Gather requirements from:
- PAM Process Owners
- Engineering Teams
- Platform Support Teams
- Reliability Framework SMEs
- Senior Leadership
- Translate business requirements into technical designs.
- Produce technical documentation, data lineage diagrams, and dashboard specifications.
Operational Support
- Support monthly reporting production cycles.
- Manage dashboard releases, enhancements, and defect resolution.
- Perform data validation and reconciliation activities.
- Ensure compliance with governance and reporting standards.
Job Expectations:
- 4+ years of experience in reporting, analytics, business intelligence, or data engineering.
- 3+ years of Power BI development experience.
- 3+ years of SQL development experience.
- Experience supporting IT Service Management (ITSM) reporting environments.
- Experience working with large operational datasets.
