Senior Software Engineer

About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Software Engineer in the Digital Technology and Innovation group which supports evolving digital platforms and enhances integration of the innovation pipeline into our customer-facing capabilities


In this role, you will:

  • Lead moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within technical domain environments

  • Contribute to large scale planning of strategies

  • Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs associated with technology domain, including upgrades and deployments

  • Review moderately complex technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of technologies and procedures

  • Resolve moderately complex issues and lead a team to meet existing client needs or potential new clients needs while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, or compliance requirements

  • Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve technical challenges and achieve goals

  • Lead projects and act as an escalation point, provide guidance and direction to less experienced staff


Required Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

  • 4+ years experience in one or more tools: Postman, Splunk,

  • 4+ years of Microservices experience

  • 2+ years of Behavior Driven Development(BDD)


Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience with Browser Stack, SonarQube

  • Ability to lead a small team and manage day to day team deliverables tracking them to completion

  • Competency in all phases of Software development programming including analysis of complex and diverse problems, coding, debugging, unit & integration testing

  • Ability to analyze, verify performance data and identify issues

  • 4+ years of mobile banking experience

  • Understanding of Wells Fargo Online Banking modules & development practices

  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

  • Strong multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills.

  • Make use of AI Augmented Development practices. Integrate AI coding assistants into the SDLC to accelerate development, code review, and testing.

Pay range:

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to demonstrated examples of prior performance, skills, experience, or work location. Employees may also be eligible for incentive opportunities.

For above posted locations - 120,000.00 - 196,000.00 USD Annual

$120,000.00 - $196,000.00
