Senior Marketing Manager for Global Operational Excellence

About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Global Marketing Operations Excellence Manager to strengthen how marketing work is planned, governed, executed, measured, and continuously improved across global teams.

This role will help build more consistent, scalable, and disciplined ways of working across marketing planning, platform, agency, and execution environments. The ideal candidate will bring strong experience in marketing operations, process improvement, governance, capacity management, and cross-functional alignment in a complex, matrixed organization.

The role requires someone who can connect strategy to execution, identify operational friction, improve workflows, and influence teams across geographies without relying solely on direct authority. This leader will play a key role in improving quality, efficiency, consistency, and execution predictability across global marketing operations.


In this role, you will:

  • Manage and develop a team of marketing professionals and managers

  • Engage and influence potential business partners, vendors and functional management to obtain resources and ensure alignment with wells Fargo strategy, policies and business line objectives

  • Manage the identification and development of data guided marketing strategies and programs to drive new customer acquisition

  • Integrate plans and programs across business channels or regions, develop appropriate tracking, measurement, evaluation and test and learn opportunities

  • Determine appropriate strategy and actions of marketing team to implement projects and programs that are wide reaching, significant in scope, complexity and risk for a large region
    or product group

  • Interpret and develop legal, compliance, and privacy regulations and policies for sales design, development, distribution, digital marketing plans, regional marketing, sales support, sponsorships, promotions and sales campaigns

  • Collaborate with and influence functional management, vendor relationships, technology, customer care, alliance partners, multiple business groups and vendors on strategic marketing initiatives across the enterprise

  • Manage allocation of people and financial resources for Marketing

  • Develop and guide a culture of talent development to meet business objectives and strategy


Required Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of Marketing, E-business, Digital Marketing, Digital Platforms, or Social Media experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

  • 3+ years of management or leadership experience

Desired Qualifications:

  • 10+ years in a senior leadership / management-level capacity

  • Experience in marketing operations, business operations, operational excellence, process improvement, or workflow management.

  • Experience working across marketing planning, campaign execution, platform operations, production, review, agency, or related marketing delivery environments.

  • Strong background in process optimization, governance, operating cadence design, and cross-functional workflow improvement.

  • Experience developing or managing intake frameworks, capacity views, workload models, throughput reporting, or operational performance routines.

  • Experience establishing KPIs, SLAs, decision rights, escalation paths, governance forums, and performance management routines.

  • Proven ability to influence stakeholders and drive alignment in a global, matrixed environment.

  • Strong systems-thinking skills, with the ability to identify patterns across teams and solve operational issues at the root cause level.

  • Experience using data, metrics, and operational insights to improve performance, quality, speed, and consistency.

  • Strong communication skills, including the ability to translate complex operational issues into clear leadership recommendations.

  • Experience working with distributed or global teams.

Job Expectations:

  • Role will require work in US Eastern Time zone, but will be based in Taguig, Metro Manila, Philippines
  • Drive Marketing Operations Excellence - Lead operational excellence initiatives across global marketing workflows, with a focus on efficiency, quality, consistency, and execution discipline. Identify process gaps, workflow inefficiencies, rework drivers, and recurring operational issues. Design and implement scalable solutions that improve how marketing work moves from planning through execution. Promote consistent ways of working across teams, markets, and functions.
  • Strengthen End-to-End Workflow Management - Improve intake, prioritization, handoffs, ownership, escalation paths, and execution routines. Partner with planning, platform, campaign execution, agency, review, reporting, and operations teams to improve workflow clarity and accountability. Establish practical workflow standards that reduce ambiguity and improve predictability. Support cross-functional alignment across global delivery teams.

  • Build Capacity and Throughput Discipline - Develop and maintain a consistent view of workload, capacity, throughput, and operational performance. Partner with leaders to improve demand visibility, workload balancing, prioritization, and resource planning. Use capacity and throughput insights to identify bottlenecks, risks, and trade-off decisions. Support better leadership decisions on staffing, demand, delivery expectations, and execution feasibility.

  • Establish Governance and Operating Cadence - Define and embed governance routines, operating cadences, KPIs, SLAs, decision rights, and escalation mechanisms. Create forums and routines that improve transparency, accountability, and timely decision-making. Ensure operational standards are consistently applied and monitored across teams. Strengthen control, predictability, and visibility across a global marketing operating model.

  • Use Data to Improve Performance - Translate operational metrics into practical insights, recommendations, and improvement actions. Connect performance data to workflow improvements, quality outcomes, efficiency gains, and leadership decisions. Establish measurement routines that help teams understand what is working, where friction exists, and where intervention is needed. Ensure reporting and metrics are used to drive action, not just visibility.

  • Support AI-Enabled Marketing Operations - Identify practical opportunities to use AI and automation to improve marketing workflows, reduce manual effort, and strengthen decision support. Help translate AI-enabled use cases into scalable operating practices, including workflow standards, templates, playbooks, and adoption routines. Partner with teams to promote responsible AI use, including human review, quality validation, data handling expectations, and appropriate governance. Monitor the operational impact of AI-enabled improvements, including cycle time reduction, quality improvement, rework reduction, and productivity gains.

  • Lead Cross-Functional Alignment and Change - Influence stakeholders across functions, geographies, and levels to drive alignment on operating standards and priorities. Support adoption of new ways of working, including changes to workflow, governance, tools, routines, and performance expectations. Help teams move from fragmented or locally optimized processes to more consistent and scalable operating practices. Drive continuous improvement with a focus on sustainable behavioral and operational change.
