In this role, you will:

  • Lead or participate in providing technology initiatives for simple to moderately complex business problems within technology business systems
  • Contribute to the development of systems and procedures that are both cost effective and meet the relevant business requirements
  • Evaluate moderately complex business, operational, or technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of planning and direction conducted to resolve complex business problems
  • Partner with business and technology teams to evaluate moderately complex business problems and lead a team to provide comprehensive technological solutions
  • Act as an internal consultant within technology and business groups by using quality tools and process definition or improvement to re-engineer technical processes
  • Collaborate and consult with business and technology teams to evaluate and resolve issues in order to provide technological solutions and manage both project schedules and deliverables
  • Coordinate communication and information flow between business and technology teams


Required Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of Business Systems Data experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education


Desired Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of client service experience working with high-value customers and/or large organizations.

  • Executive-grade verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical issues into clear, decision-ready updates such as incident communications, RCA summaries, stakeholder briefs, release updates, and governance-ready materials.

  • 3+ years of experience troubleshooting complex API ecosystems, including REST APIs, JSON, Swagger/OpenAPI, request/response analysis, latency and error pattern review, and end-to-end failure investigation.

  • Strong understanding of API concepts, including complete call flows, business logic, application behavior, upstream/downstream dependencies, infrastructure touchpoints, monitoring signals, customer impact, and operational risk.

  • 3+ years of observability and monitoring experience, with Splunk strongly preferred. Experience should include building dashboards, writing queries, alert tuning, noise reduction, and correlating logs, metrics, traces, and events.

  • Exposure to monitoring or observability tools such as ThousandEyes, Dynatrace, AppDynamics, ELK/Elastic, Grafana, or Prometheus is a plus.

  • Good SQL skills, including joins, aggregations, troubleshooting queries, data validation, anomaly identification, and supporting production investigations.

  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments for 1+ year, including collaboration with squads, participation in ceremonies as needed, and issue analysis or resolution without disrupting sprint commitments.

  • Strong analytical problem-solving skills, including hypothesis-driven triage, root-cause analysis, pattern detection, and data-backed decision-making tied to customer and business outcomes.

  • Intermediate GenAI capability with evidence of building or contributing to 1–2 AI-enabled automations, POCs, or operational improvement initiatives that improved outcomes such as reduced manual effort, improved MTTR, fewer false positives, or faster investigation/documentation.

  • Familiarity with agentic or workflow-based AI concepts, including goal-oriented automation, orchestration, tool-calling patterns, or comparable agentic tooling.

  • Experience using LLM tools such as NotebookLM or equivalent tools for grounded summaries, briefing documents, FAQs, investigation notes, or knowledge artifacts with citations.


Job Expectations:

  • Provide senior-level L2 support for complex API issues, including end-to-end troubleshooting across business logic, application behavior, infrastructure dependencies, monitoring signals, upstream/downstream systems, and customer impact.

  • Understand complete API call flows and use that understanding to analyze failures, interpret error/latency patterns, validate dependencies, and recommend evidence-based remediation or containment actions.

  • Work closely with US Product Owners, US L2 teams, engineering, SRE, platform, governance, and support teams to understand upcoming releases, critical API changes, defects, known issues, and operational impact.

  • Track critical API changes and communicate release impacts, support readiness needs, known issues, monitoring updates, escalation paths, and process changes to internal teams.

  • Demonstrate a strong product mindset by thinking of APIs as business-critical products and considering reliability, supportability, monitoring, documentation, customer experience, operational readiness, and continuous improvement.

  • Perform strong impact analysis by mapping upstream/downstream dependencies, assessing customer and business impact, identifying containment options, and recommending evidence-based remediation actions.

  • Prepare clear and structured communications for incidents, RCA outcomes, release impacts, stakeholder updates, governance discussions, and team readiness.

  • Influence outcomes in a matrixed environment across Product Owners, engineering, SRE, platform, governance, support, and business stakeholder teams.

  • Identify recurring production issues and drive durable improvements through automation, monitoring enhancements, alert tuning, improved runbooks, better documentation, and process improvements.

  • Maintain strong operational discipline through accurate documentation, repeatable processes, measurable reliability improvements, prioritization, execution, and follow-through under pressure.

  • Drive important communication to the team related to release changes, critical defects, production issues, operational risks, process updates, and support readiness expectations.
