Lead Marketing Consultant

Wells Fargo is seeking an innovative Lead Marketing Consultant within Consumer Lending to help shape and elevate the Digital Owned Channel marketing ecosystem, driving customer engagement through impactful, data-informed experiences across our digital platforms.

This role will lead a high-impact, cross-functional team spanning marketing execution, analytics, finance, product, etc. to identify, implement, and scale innovative digital marketing capabilities that accelerate customer growth in personal loans.  The ideal candidate is highly quantitative, curious and collaborate with an innate performance mindset. This is a high-visibility role, which offers opportunity for creativity and innovation, while helping to deliver significant production at strong returns through effective marketing campaigns.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead and participate in complex initiatives including those that are cross-functional with broad impact, and act as key participation in large-scale planning for the marketing area

  • Act as key participant in complex marketing analysis, customer retention, customer profile, sales, and profitability for marketing

  • Review and analyze complex multi-faceted, larger scale or longer-term business, operational, or technical challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors including intangibles or unprecedented factors

  • Make decisions in complex and multi-faceted situations requiring solid understanding of the policies, procedures, and compliance requirements that influence and lead broader work team to meet deliverables and drive new initiatives related to marketing

  • Strategically collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to senior managers to resolve issues and achieve goals cross enterprise, cross lines of business, vendor relationships, and cross-functional resources on highly complex initiatives to achieve marketing deliverables

  • May lead projects, teams or serve as a peer mentor

  • The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in Wells Fargo's digital owned-channel marketing ecosystem (using CEE for public banners on wellsfargo.com and secure session banners in online banking and the mobile app) and a strong understanding of customer engagement and performance optimization strategies. This role requires close partnership with business stakeholders, channel teams, and analytics partners to support the development, execution, and optimization of marketing strategies for Personal Loan and Flex Loan products. Responsibilities executing audience segmentation, creative and placement testing, and translating business objectives into effective channel execution. The individual will partner with analytics and digital channel teams to evaluate campaign performance, identify optimization opportunities, and support data-driven decision making. This role will also contribute to monthly and annual channel forecasting by providing channel expertise, performance insights, and strategic recommendations to support business planning and growth objectives.

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of Marketing, Digital Marketing, Digital Platforms (i.e. Mobile or Social Media) experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience with Customer Engagement Segment (CEE)  

  • 2+ years’ experience with Aprimo tool and experience with Tableau

  • 2 + experience with Audience Manager

  • 2 + years’ experience with channel forecasting

  • Strong presentation skills: ability to build compelling stories and present to large groups

  • Experience partnering with or operating in risk‑managed, regulated environments, including audit, business controls, or compliance.

  • Familiarity with digital marketing and offer management platforms, such as Adobe (AEM, Target, Audience) or comparable enterprise solutions

  • Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder‑management skills

  • Strong extensive marketing strategy experience with a focus on end-to-end customer acquisition through digital channels

  • Experience working in banking or financial services

  • Demonstrated outstanding verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to present and discuss information in a way that persuades, educates, and enhances understanding at all levels

  • Experience with build a test and learn agenda through business case creation and stakeholder prioritization

  • Experience with preparing management-level presentations and influence senior decision makers

  • Strong project management skills including the ability to handle multiple projects concurrently; must thrive in a fast-paced environment

  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks and responsibilities

  • Ability to work and influence successfully within a matrix environment and build effective business partnerships across all organizational levels, where flexibility, collaboration, and adaptability are important

Job Expectations:

  • Must reside within a commutable distance from work

  • Hybrid work schedule. Must be able to work from one of the approved jobs posting locations three (3) days in office & two (2) days remote.

  • This position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship.

Pay Range
 

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to demonstrated examples of prior performance, skills, experience, or work location. Employees may also be eligible for incentive opportunities.

$100,000.00 - $196,000.00
