Wells Fargo is seeking a Renewable Energy & Environmental Finance Associate to join our Renewable Energy & Environmental Finance team in Commercial Banking.

In this role, you will:
- Support and assist in all aspects of the sale of tax credits from Wells Fargo's investments as well as the sale of renewable energy tax credits from third party investments across the full transaction lifecycle
- Build, organize, and maintain transaction documentation and execution materials; provide day-to-day support for tax credit sale execution, including diligence coordination, approvals, closing documentation, and communication with internal and external stakeholders
- Develop, refine, and optimize repeatable processes, templates, and tools to improve efficiency, scalability and consistency across tax credit transfer transactions
- Identify process gaps or recurring pain points and proactively propose improvements in coordination, documentation flow, approvals, and buyer/sponsor interactions
- Support senior members of the transfer team with client interfacing, marketing, and managing buyer outreach
- Contribute to the development and upkeep of internal templates, training materials, and external marketing materials to support platform maturity and knowledge sharing
- Coordinate the process for internal approval of transactions, including credit analysis, underwriting, legal, accounting, regulatory, and tax matters
- Interact with internal business partners with relationships in the renewable energy and clean technology sectors
- Complete work in accordance with all risk management, compliance and business process expectations
Required Qualifications:
- 2+ years of professional experience demonstrating support of complex deal execution, operating in a process driven risk-controlled environment or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in renewable energy or financial services
- Experience with renewable energy, tax equity and other key areas of renewable energy finance/investing
- A demonstrated passion for renewable energy; detail oriented with the ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment and with multiple competing priorities.
- Experience using AI tools
- Financial Analysis experience
- Advanced in Microsoft Office Suite-Excel, Outlook, Word and PowerPoint
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Economics, Environmental Sciences, Engineering, Business or related field
Job Expectations:
- Hybrid work model, 4 days in the office and 1 day remote

Pay Range
Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to demonstrated examples of prior performance, skills, experience, or work location. Employees may also be eligible for incentive opportunities.
$143,000.00 - $224,000.00Benefits
