Product Management Senior Manager

About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a senior manager to join the Equipment & Vendor Finance originations product team. This individual will lead a team of product managers as we develop and improve our originations systems and processes. We are seeking a leader who can drive transformational initiatives across our originations ecosystem, navigating complex legacy environments while delivering measurable business and customer outcomes. This individual will operate at both strategic and execution levels—defining product vision, shaping roadmaps, and ensuring disciplined delivery across cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will bring a strong focus on customer-centric and user-centric thinking and data-driven decision making, helping evolve our practices to emphasize business revenue and cost outcomes, and driving measurable change.


In this role, you will:

  • Manage and develop teams of managers and individual contributors for leading product strategy
  • Consult, develop, market, and manage performance analysis for products that have high impact on companywide growth opportunities and success
  • Identify and recommend opportunities for product enhancements and business requirements
  • Determine appropriate strategy and actions of product management team to meet moderate to high risk deliverables
  • Interpret and develop pricing policies and distribution strategies, which may include global considerations
  • Collaborate and consult with product managers, analysts and multiple level managers
  • Interact directly with vendors
  • Manage allocation of people and financial resources for Product Management
  • Develop and guide a culture of talent development to meet business objectives and strategy
  • Define and drive product vision, roadmap, and priorities while balancing near-term delivery with long-term modernization goals
  • Build, develop, and coach a team of product managers to strengthen product discipline, execution rigor, and customer-focused thinking
  • Partner closely with technology, sales, operations, risk, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable, compliant, and high-impact solutions
  • Establish and track clear success metrics, embedding data-driven decision making and continuous improvement into the team’s operating model

Required Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of Product Management, product development, strategic planning, process management, change delivery, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • 3+ years of management or leadership experience


Desired Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated ability to lead large-scale system or process build-out and transformation efforts within regulated or enterprise environments
  • Strong grounding in data-driven leadership and initiatives, including defining KPIs, using analytics to inform decisions, and measuring outcomes
  • Experience building and scaling user and customer-centric solutions across teams
  • Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and operate effectively across a highly matrixed organization

Job Expectations:

Ability to travel occasionally in the US and Canada. 
Ability to work a hybrid work schedule, current requirements are 4 days in-office.
Willingness to work on-site at stated location on the job opening

Minneapolis, MN Pay Range: $153,000 - $239,000 USD Annual (this range may not be applicable to other locations)

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to demonstrated examples of prior performance, skills, experience, or work location. Employees may also be eligible for incentive opportunities.
